Volunteer with Community Food Bank
We’ve been looking for you! Community Food Bank could not help so many people without our volunteers. There is a way for everyone to participate, all you need is the will to make a compassionate gesture!
We rely on our volunteers in so many areas: from sorting canned food, inspecting and packing boxes to serving clients. We distribute food to around 400- 800 families each day. On holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, we serve over 4,000 families!
Volunteers can help with special packaging and distribution to our partners such as the Como Community Center, or the Children Defense Freedom Schools.
No matter how much time you have to give, there is always an opportunity for you to make a difference with Community Food Bank.
If you have spare time to donate, get more information about volunteer opportunities below. If you’re looking to engage more people in your service effort, please consider hosting a food drive or sponsoring us. If you’d just like to learn more about what we do, come on down to our facility and take a tour.
Would you like to bring a team from work or a group of your friends or family for two hour shift at our distribution center? We can definitely coordinate times and tasks for your crew.
Thank you for giving back to our community; because of your dedication and service, we are able to continue our fight against hunger in North Texas.
