Volunteers are critical to the success and are the backbone of the Community Food Bank. Each year we rely on the generosity and dedication of many volunteers who contribute numerous hours to the fight against hunger.
Each individual can offer unique talents, value and gifts that can make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. With this in mind, we offer a diverse array of opportunities for individuals, organizations, religious group, businesses and corporations.
Warehouse: Work in the heart of our operations driving to pick up, and sort incoming donations. (add a picture of someone volunteering here) Exceptional Skills: We are always in need of skilled professionals willing to share their expertise and help us fulfill our mandate.
Customer service: Compassionate, open-minded people are needed to help put food into the hands of our recipients and provide leadership to onsite volunteers.
Office: We need assistance with many type of office work.
Special Events: Volunteers are needed year round for events ranging from concerts to golf tournaments.
Team Building: Groups are welcome to come and volunteer - use food sorting as a team building activity! |
