Professional Freight Disposition & OS&D Solutions
A Trusted Partner for Logistics Managers and Drivers
When a load is refused or an overage occurs, you need a solution that is fast, legal, and beneficial to your bottom line.
Community Food Bank is equipped to handle distressed freight and provide the necessary documentation for your records. We accept a wide range of inventory to help you clear your trailer and get back on the road.
Why Donate to Community Food Bank?
-
Liability Protection: All donations are protected under the Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donation Act.
-
Tax Benefits: We provide immediate, professional donation receipts for corporate tax deductions.
-
Efficient Unloading: Our warehouse team understands the urgency of the logistics industry and works to get drivers in and out quickly.
-
Local Impact: Your surplus inventory stays in Tarrant County to fight local hunger.

Reduce Costs and Eliminate Dumping Fees
Refused or damaged freight often results in unexpected expenses for carriers. By redirecting OS&D inventory to Community Food Bank, your company can significantly reduce the overhead associated with distressed loads.
-
Save on Disposal Costs: Avoid the high costs of commercial landfill fees and specialized waste disposal services.
-
Eliminate Extra Mileage: Do not waste fuel and driver hours searching for a disposal site. Our Fort Worth location provides a convenient alternative right on your route.
-
Maximize Your ROI: Turn a potential loss into a corporate tax deduction. A donation receipt for the fair market value of the goods is often more financially beneficial than paying for disposal.
-
Sustainability Goals: Avoid unnecessary food waste and improve your company’s environmental footprint by keeping perfectly edible food out of landfills.
