Summer Reading Program

The Community Food Bank’s 2019 Summer Reading Program launched today with a special book reading by local children’s author, Dr. Lynda Mubarak. Dr. Mubarak is a seasoned former educator who continues to share her love of teaching with children through her Stations for Kids book series (see Amazon for more).

Today’s session featured the reading of Maxine Listens. Dr. Mubarak shared the following about today’s event: “I enjoyed the first session of the Summer Reading Program and I’m looking forward to the next! The kids were great and had plenty of questions and answers!”
