For the first time in our history, our clients were served by three banks on a single day: The Community Food Bank, The Tarrant Area Food Bank, and Chase Bank! Thank you to the 17 managers of local Chase banks for serving on both our regular food pantry line and on the TAFB’s mobile pantry line.
Reggie Rush, an Executive Director with Chase in Fort Worth, shared that many of the branch managers who volunteered today have served at our food bank in the past. Mr. Rush also shared about Chase’s involvement in our community: “We have our volunteer leadership group, and that is partnered with our Good Works campaign throughout the communities we serve. We also have our business resource groups that also connect with the community. We have been in the Fort Worth community for a long time. We are the oldest bank in Fort Worth, and we are so proud that we can find ways to connect with the community.”
